It's fashion week in New York in my mind there isn't a more important accessory than "man's best friend" ( or in this case -woman's). They pair perfectly with every outfit and always draw just the right kind of attention wherever you go! MICHAEL IMBER

Over the last few years I've had the pleasure of spending time with some enormously talented people, one of which is Michael Imber. Not only is he an extraordinarily gifted architect, but his watercolor renderings are absolutely poetic. In his book- Ranches, Villas, and Houses -Michael draws inspiration, as is evidenced in his romantic imagery, from the landscape and culture of the Southwest. His work is raw and rugged, significant and solid- a true classicist with a strong modernist bent at his best!

LUXURIOUS MINIMALISM

There is absolutely no better gift than a good book. The wonderful staff in my office gave me this gorgeous book recently of photographer Fritz von der Schullenburg's work Luxurious Minimalism-Elegant Interiors. What a treat! This is certain to be a classic and chock full of luscious imagery from some of my favorite designers. I love the quote in the introduction from Antoine de Saint-Exupery- "perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away."
