Over the last few years I've had the pleasure of spending
time with some enormously talented people, one of which is Michael Imber. Not
only is he an extraordinarily gifted architect, but his watercolor renderings
are absolutely poetic. In his book- Ranches, Villas, and Houses -Michael draws
inspiration, as is evidenced in his romantic imagery, from the landscape and
culture of the Southwest. His work is raw and rugged, significant and solid- a
true classicist with a strong modernist bent at his best!
