SO REFRESHING

Saying we are THRILLED to be included in the June issue of House Beautiful, is an understatement! Our wonderful client's house here in Atlanta looks so ethereal and bright, despite the fact that it was shot by on a cold winter's day! William Abranowicz, the photographer, was stellar! The home was originally designed by Keith Summerour of Summerour and Associates then underwent a renovation with architect Chad Mattison. When the bones are this good, it is hard to miss on the interiors. Our clients were passionate about the process and were such a pleasure to work with each and every day. We've included some additional shots in some previously done photography by Emily Followill just to show it off a little bit more.

Many thanks to all involved...it takes a village after all.

THE DAPPER MR. DIXON

I recently had the pleasure of spending ten glorious days with my new friend Barry Dixon in Egypt and Morocco... and when I say pleasure, I mean pleasure! I have heard him described as charming, gracious, dapper and the consumate gentleman-but that, in fact, is an understatement.
Everything about Barry is LOVELY and, I might add, he is HILARIOUS!

So cheers to you my very talented friend-you have a fan forever!

THE HOUSES OF VERANDA

The Art of Living Well

Hi, my name is Beth Webb and it has been one hundred and seventy-three days since my last blog. How can that be ?? Oh my, what a very busy winter and spring it has been - so much so there has been no time to spare for AESTHETICALLY THINKING. We have just been on the go and dancing as fast as we can!

Well, I am back and so pleased to be re-initiating the blog with a subject very near and dear to my heart. The new book just out from VERANDA magazine's founder Lisa Newsom is exceptional. I am a shelter magazine addict and have been devouring the glossy pages of this illustrious publication for the last twenty-five years! Here are some of the iconic images from this absolutely gorgeous retrospective of the best interiors of the last two and a half decades.

Cheers and many thanks Lisa!
