VIGNETTE...

"A short, impressionistic scene that focuses on one moment or gives a trenchant impression about a setting."

I've always had a love affair with vignettes. If "God is in the details" - they are the exclamation point. The vignette is poetic in every sense of the word, a quiet still life in the midst of the whole.

IT'S TOO DARN HOT!

Just when we thought it couldn't get any worse! I mean - heat index at 104° - what's up with that? So that being said the only place to be is poolside - margarita in hand. Come on in - the water's fine!

ROOM WITH A VIEW

"Men fall into two classes - those who forget views and those who remember them." A Room With a View - E.M. Forster

We all want the room with a view - no blank brick wall for me. I want a vista, a private garden or a sweeping panorama of the sea! Whatever the scenario - make it memorable!
